Welcome to the Communications Systems and Networking Research (CSNR) Laboratory at the University of Manitoba. The lab is dedicated to  research and teaching in the broad area of  theory and systems for reliable and efficient communication of information. Current research in the lab focuses on mobile wireless systems, communication networks, multimedia communications, and wireless sensor networks.

• Multimedia over WiFi networks (dynamic resource management, network optimization)
• MIMO-based wireless mesh networks (resource allocation, end-to-end performance modeling, analysis and optimization)

• Coding and transmission of information: source coding, channel coding, joint source-channel coding, and source coding for networks
